Join the estate team at Bird in Hand and play a key role in producing exceptional fruit from our meticulously managed vineyards in the Adelaide Hills. We are seeking a skilled, safety-focused Vineyard Operator who takes pride in precision, care, and craftsmanship in every aspect of their work.
The Role
You will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and management of vineyard machinery across all stages of production — from soil preparation and planting through to canopy management, spraying, harvest, and general vineyard upkeep.
Working closely with the Vineyard Manager and field teams, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day vineyard operations.
For the right candidate, this role offers clear development potential toward a Vineyard Supervisor position, with increasing responsibility for team coordination and operational planning.
