About the Opportunity
Mills Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Final Grader Operator to join a civil and infrastructure project on Christmas Island. This role will be working within a mining site environment, focusing on infrastructure upgrades and civil works, requiring a high level of precision in final trim grading.
This is an excellent opportunity for an operator who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and has experience working on civil projects in remote environments.
The Role
* Final trim grading on civil and infrastructure projects
* Working within a mining site environment
* Road construction, drainage, and site preparation works
* Supporting broader site operations as required
* Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety standards
Roster, Travel & Hours
* FIFO from Perth
* 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
* All flights paid
* 6 hours paid travel time each way
* Monday to Saturday, day shift from 6:00am
* 60+ hours per week
* 10-12 hour shifts
* Sundays off
* Option to remain on island during R&R (LAFHA continues)
Pay & Benefits
* $60.00 per hour (flat rate)
* $50.00/day LAFHA
* Accommodation provided
Tickets & Experience Required
* Current Final Trim Grader ticket (essential)
* Proven experience in final grading on civil/infrastructure projects
* Experience working in mining or remote site environments
* Current MC Licence (essential)
