Job Title: Maintenance and Facilities Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Facilities Technician to join our team in Tasmania. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facilities and equipment
* Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems
* Assist the team with essential business checks
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work via our Property Management System
* E nsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs, preferably within the Hospitality Industry;
* Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and blueprints;
* Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse and fast-paced environment often prioritising multiple tasks effectively;
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work; and
* Reliable vehicle and driver's Licence (preferred, due to remote location).
