About the Role
We're growing our Brisbane team and looking for someone genuine, reliable, and great with people — someone who shows up with a strong work ethic and a solid "can-do" attitude.
This is a technician/skilled handyman position, with a focus on repairing sliding doors, windows and screens. Your responsibilities include:
* Repair Work ─ Repairing various sliding doors and windows, such as glass sliding doors, screen doors, sliding windows, and double-hung windows.
* Onsite Service — Visiting customers across Brisbane, completing repairs onsite, building friendly rapport, and taking payments.
* Diagnosing Issues — Assessing jobs, diagnosing issues, and providing clear, accurate quotes.
* Admin & Reporting — Updating job details through our technician portal and keeping information organised.
* Working With Head Office —Coordinating with head office on scheduling, stock orders, pricing, and customer enquiries.
* Vehicle & Equipment Care — Maintaining your assigned company vehicle and keeping tools stocked and ready to go.
* Collaborating With Other Techs — Working with other technicians when needed and staying flexible as duties evolve.
* Representing the Company —Taking pride in the quality of your work, the customer experience, and the way you represent our brand onsite—professional, respectful, and reliable.
Who We're Looking For
To do this job well, you need to have:
* A manual Australian driver's licence — essential for attending jobs across Brisbane.
* Hands-on motivation — you're proactive, hardworking, and you follow tasks through to completion.
* A customer-first mindset — you understand that great service is part of the job, not an add-on.
* Strong attention to detail — you spot issues early and ensure the job is done right the first time.
* Good organisational and time-management skills — you can manage your workload, stay on schedule, and keep documentation tidy.
* Teamwork — you communicate well, support your teammates, and contribute to a positive work environment.
* Reliability — you show up, follow through, and can be trusted on-site and with clients.
* Industry experience (advantage but not required) — background in sliding door, window, or screen repairs, or trade experience such as glazing or carpentry.
