Join our team at BIG4 Rainbow Beach as a Guest Services/Housekeeping employee, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role involves maintaining the appearance of our accommodation, amenities, and park buildings to a high standard, while also providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Maintain the appearance of accommodation, amenities, and park buildings to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
* Clean cabin interiors, verandas, and exteriors as required to meet guest expectations.
* Ensure cleanliness of amenities blocks, laundries, and camp kitchens to provide a hygienic environment for guests.
* Assist fellow team members in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
* Safely operate vehicles and equipment while adhering to all safety protocols.
* Utilise chemicals according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) guidelines and maintain chemical knowledge.
* May be required to perform general gardening and grounds maintenance to uphold the quality of lawns, gardens, and trees.
* Provide exceptional customer service, anticipate guest needs, and offer support and assistance where necessary.
* Enforce park rules to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
Qualifications and Skills
* Prior experience as Housekeeper is preferred but not required. We can provide on the job training for the right candidate.
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and MSDS guidelines advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Capacity to work effectively within a team and independently.
