About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Landscaping Maintenance Team Leader to take the lead at client sites across the Central Coast (2/3 days per week) and Sydney's Upper Northern suburbs (2 days per week). This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
You'll supervise and guide a small team of crew members, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard. Competence as a Landscape Maintenance leading hand and the professionalism to represent the Greenworx brand are essential.
The ideal applicant will reside in Sydney's Upper Northern suburbs / Central Coast for ease of travel to sites, in a Greenworx company vehicle.
Essential experience and qualifications:
* 3 years'+ experience in a commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance role, ideally leading a small team
* Proven experience in a leadership role with demonstrated team leadership capabilities
* Proven experience working independently on sites
* Proven team leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
* A professional and positive approach with clients
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Valid Manual Driver's Licence & OHS White Card
* Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check, Police Check and Medical Assessment before starting
* Must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance, including: - Mowing, edging, blowing | Brush-cutting | Hedging, pruning & tree trimming | Weed control (including chemical use) | Clearing leaf litter
* Supervise and support a small team of staff when required
* Complete daily site reports and maintain accurate documentation
* Uphold Greenworx standards for safety, presentation and client service
* Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts
* Ensure all garden waste is removed and transferred to authorised waste stations
* Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards
