Morgan Securities Services division, the Agency Securities Finance group arranges and executes a wide range of secured funding transactions for a broad, institutional buy-side client base, including large banks, broker-dealers, and hedge funds. The role is within Financing Solutions, a team dedicated to facilitating client liquidity objectives, collateral efficiency, directed funding transactions, and implementing new agency products to complement the core agency lending program.You will join a team of high strategic importance for the Agency Securities Finance business, promoting revenue diversification and increased client engagement. The position is based in Sydney but maintains a global perspective.Job ResponsibilitiesStructure ad-hoc solutions for institutional clients via financing trades, cash management, collateral mobilization, or enhanced lending opportunities.Evaluate cross-asset financing opportunities through quantitative analysis of securities portfolios and market data, aligned with risk mandates.Develop and bring to market new agency financing and portfolio optimization products in collaboration with group stakeholders.Prepare pitchbooks and present ideas to clients, internal sales teams, and external stakeholders.Gain in-depth knowledge of J.P. Morgan's financing system architecture, documentation framework, and operational processes.Oversee and manage ongoing client activities, ensuring compliance with transactional parameters, resource limits, and operational guidelines.Create memos and Thought Leadership pieces, providing project updates and strategic insights for internal management, partners, and clients.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsStrong understanding of secured funding markets across asset classes, derivatives, and macroeconomic themes.Knowledge of the financial ecosystem and its participants, including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fintech firms, central counterparts, and regulators.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; experience in financial modeling or data analysis is desirable.Effective project management skills to handle multiple deliverables with varying timelines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for all organizational levels and external counterparts.An entrepreneurial and innovative approach to problem-solving within a risk-controlled environment.Strong presentation skills across various formats and platforms to convey strategic ideas clearly and concisely.About UsJ.P.
