What you will do as the Senior Digital Publishing Officer
As the Senior Digital Publishing Officer, you will lead a small team of publishers, role modelling our leadership behaviours, supporting a professional and collaborative working environment, coaching, giving continuous feedback, resolving conflict and facilitating career development.
This role is responsible for overseeing the management of website requests. You'll work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, drafting and publishing content that is easy to understand, accessible, and meets writing style and content patterns. Solid editing capabilities and strong influencing skills are essential.
To be successful in this role, you must be highly organised, adept at creating and implementing processes, and using different systems like complex content management systems such as Drupal. A high level of attention to detail is a must.
This role is fast-paced and you must be able to work under pressure and on many tasks simultaneously. You'll know how to prioritise competing deadlines and be resilient when things don't go as planned, change unexpectedly, or aren't to your preference.
You will be highly motivated and have a positive outlook with demonstrated ability to take ownership, exercise judgement and escalate issues appropriately.

About you
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and manage requests, and prioritise a demanding inbox, recognising sensitive issues and proposing suitable solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to be highly organised, adept at creating and implementing processes, and using different systems like complex CMS such as Drupal, as well as a high level of attention to detail.
* High-level knowledge Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to AA level is necessary, as is an ability to use website governance tools.
