About the Opportunity
An established mixed billing practice is looking for another local VR or Non-VR General Practitioner to complement their solo principal GP and expand their team to meet growing patient demand. This AGPAL accredited practice is open from 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm Monday to Friday therefore no regular weekend or evening work will be required, hence this position is perfect for GPs who prefer to work within standard businesshours for more work‑life balance. Types of services typically sought out here include chronic disease care plans, occupational health, travel / seasonal / children's vaccinations, health assessments for all age groups, dressings, men and women's health checks and procedures, minor procedures, problems with addictions and mental health. The ideal candidate will reside in the Traralgon East area with a long‑term vision of pursuing their career here and be comfortable liaising with staff, patients and external parties in order to provide quality care to a varied client base. GPs who live locally as well as those who have recently arrived in the LaTrobe Valley region are encouraged to APPLY as those who are new to the area will be introduced to local groups and associations to ensure that you'll feel at home whilst living and working here.
Essential Criteria : MBBS or equivalent
* Minimum AHPRA GENERAL / SPECIALIST registration
* FRACGP qualified
