Project Support Officer

The Project Support Officer provides administrative and project support to senior project management staff involved in the development, delivery and management of complex ICT projects. The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure project management excellence and continuous project improvement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the Director Program and Project Services and other senior project managers as required.
- Coordinate administrative systems to support projects, including document productions and collation of materials, meeting coordination in a timely and effective manner, coordinating working groups and committees and support stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with financial and workforce transactional activities, including purchasing, invoice processing, and ensure adherence to Departmental policies and processes.
- Assist the team in the delivery of a range of projects/programs and initiatives to facilitate the timely delivery of objectives.
- Contribute to the preparation of draft reports, correspondence, papers, and minutes to support the development of program or policy initiatives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the team; participate in ongoing training and personal development to ensure currency of skills and capability levels.
- Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain records in the TRIM computerised record management system.
- Respond to routine queries to provide consistent advice and information.
