Bunbury Machinery is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Agriculture and Construction sales teams.
This full-time role is based in Bunbury, Western Australia and will be responsible for driving sales growth and overseeing the delivery of exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Manage and coach a team of sales representatives.
Motivated to nurture the team but the drive and ability to sell equipment yourself as you go along.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to our General Manager.
Oversee the delivery of pre-and post-sales support to customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
A confident and sound knowledge of Agriculture and or the Construction Industry is preferred.
A passion for Machinery and Equipment is preferred.
Good computer literacy coupled with an ability to learn new software.
Experience
A proven history in the Agricultural or Construction Industries is preferred.
A proven record of Management and good leadership would be ideal.
Sales experience preferred but not essential if you have the skills to adapt.
The ability of working as part of a team always.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Organisational skills and able to meet deadlines.
Motivated with a can-do attitude.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Performance Goals
Complete administration tasks on time.
Value add to the business through and introducing new ideas.
Deal with clients, suppliers, and other employees professionally always – from the initial sale through to the delivery and installation.
Ensure office, work vehicles are always maintained and presentable as you are the face of Bunbury Machinery.
Monthly performance will be measured against Sales Budget figures.
What we're looking for
Agriculture or construction equipment sales experience is preferred but not essential for candidates with strong adaptable sales skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing good strong performing sales teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
Management or team leadership experience is preferred.
