Kinross Wolaroi School is a co-educational, independent day & boarding school of the Uniting Church. The School has a proud tradition of educating young people in its regional context and has been doing so for more than 140 years.
With a strong history of excellent academic results along with a diverse co-curricular program, Kinross Wolaroi School is a non-selective school with over 1,000 students (including more than 330 boarders in Years 7 to 12), located in the regional centre of Orange, NSW. The role of Learning Enhancement Teacher (Senior School)
The Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) is a key member of the Senior School Learning Enhancement Team, responsible for identifying, resourcing, and implementing academic and co-curricular adjustments and classroom strategies to meet the learning needs of students. The LET's primary goal is to ensure that students with disabilities are academically and socially supported, enabling them to fully engage with and enjoy all aspects of school life.
The LET is responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks within the department, collaborates closely with classroom teachers, and provides targeted literacy and numeracy programs to individual students. The LET also supports teachers in differentiating instruction and ensures that best practices are followed for student support.
