Join Hazeldenes.Primary Objective
Responsible for ensuring that all product labelling, packaging, and computer-related processes meet specifications while maintaining optimal production efficiency.
This includes setting up and monitoring computer programs, troubleshooting labellers and printers, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the designated tray sealing and labelling line operates efficiently and in accordance with production schedules.
Set up, operate, and monitor computer programs related to product labelling and packaging.
Ensure product appearance, labelling, and packaging meet customer specifications, including MAP testing, temperature recording, batch recording, and barcode accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printers, labellers, and tray sealers to minimize downtime.
Provide clear communication to Process Controllers and upstream processes regarding order progress and production changes.
Monitor production speeds and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
Ensure product pricing, barcode information, and allergen labelling are accurate and legible.
Complete and maintain all required QA, OHSE, and production documentation throughout the shift.
Direct and support gophers as needed to assist with workflow and ensure minimal lost time.
Escalate any quality, operational, or equipment issues to the appropriate leader.
Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with HACCP and GMP principles.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production employees, maintenance staff, quality officers, and human resource personnel, to ensure smooth operations.
