Job Title: Office Administrator
The organization provides free legal support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims and survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault. The administration officer plays a vital role in the delivery of these services, ensuring efficient office operations, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to all phone calls and desk queries in a professional manner
* Exemplify excellence in customer services at all times
* Provide proactive clerical assistance to lawyers and other staff members
* Order office stationery and manage incoming and outgoing mail
* Handle Petty Cash (distribution and reconciliation)
* Assist walk-in clients and general enquiries, including directing and referring clients to appropriate resources/agencies
* Support with printing, collating and binding documents
Selection Criteria:
* At least 2 years experience in an office environment, preferably in legal services
* Experience managing client records through digital systems
* Skills in file and diary management
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent computer and literacy skills
