What you'll be doing
* Operate forklifts as required during peak seasonal
periods.
* Supervise and support forklift operations across
production and warehouse environments.
* Lead forklift training, inductions and refresher
programs to ensure high levels of competency.
* Conduct pre‑employment forklift
assessments and ongoing competency evaluations.
* Coach and mentor forklift operators, addressing
skill gaps and unsafe behaviours.
* Support forklift related incident and near‑miss
investigations, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions
* Maintain accurate training records, competency
matrices and licence documentation.
* Work closely with Production, Operations and Safety
teams to support smooth seasonal operations.
What you'll bring
* Current Forklift Licence (essential).
* Proven experience operating forklifts in a fast‑paced
operational or production environment.
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
or willingness to obtain (highly regarded).
* Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring or
training others in forklift operations.
* Strong understanding of forklift safety, risk
management and WHS requirements.
* Confidence delivering training, coaching and
constructive feedback.
* Well‑developed communication
and relationship‑building skills.
* Strong organisation and time‑management
skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
* Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or seasonal
operations will be highly regarded.
