The Policy Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of whole-of-government solutions to complex human services policy issues. Key responsibilities include assisting in provision of strategic analysis and advice on complex policy, legislative, and intergovernmental relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic analysis and advice on policy, legislative, and intergovernmental relations matters.
* Support coordination of responses to contribute to achieving identified outcomes.
* Undertake research on contemporary policy and legislative frameworks based on evidence and best practice locally, nationally, and internationally.
* Contribute as a member of a policy team to meet all elements of the work program.
* Meet Cabinet work program requirements.
Requirements:
* Ability to undertake policy research and provide strategic analysis and advice.
* Capacity to coordinate responses and contribute to achieving identified outcomes.
