**What is the role?**
We are looking for a Senior Data Steward who is an important role in the Data Governance strategy for CoreLogic, with responsibility for delivering the data management program and proactively uplifting the organization's data stewardship capabilities across business units/data domains whilst fostering the key principles of accountability, transparency and compliance.
**What will you be doing?**
- Support the Data Governance vision and framework development, helping to promote data governance and foster a data driven culture across the division;
- Lead the Data Stewards community by educating and driving best practices, knowledge sharing, prioritizing efforts to align with overall company data strategy;
- Managing the Data Owners and Stewards Forums, scheduling, managing and running the meetings, creating the discussion agendas, status updates, publishing the minutes;
- Helping maintain Data Governance related documentation current and communication channels to the function open and responsive;
- Liaise with IT and Business project leads/PMOs to provide guidance during data-driven projects to ensure the project is in line with the vision of the Data Governance program;
- Provide guidance in the configuration of data management tools, in relation to capabilities such as data catalogues, glossary, business rules repositories, processes and procedures, workflows. Create training documentation and train its stakeholders;
- Assisting the Data Governance function with defining, implementing and managing its metrics.
**Job Qualifications**:
**Are you the right fit?**
You need to have:
- Experience with data governance, data management or data analysis, including implementing relevant frameworks, policies and standards for best-in-class data enablement processes and functions
- Experience with the tools to support data governance and data management - metadata management, data lineage, data quality, etc. Collibra knowledge would be a plus
- Understanding of data architecture, Data (ETL) processes, data modelling, data analytics and/or visualization.
- Experience managing and mentoring members of our team.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to comfortably work and interact with senior stakeholders across a number of business divisions and domains.
- Facilitation of working groups and cross domain meetings
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail.
- Utilize your strong documentation skills in developing training and documentation.
- Demonstrated evidence of being self-motivated, results-orientated and a drive to improve business processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing, collaborative team member
- Experience in driving agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives and backlog grooming across multiple projects
- 2-3 years of similar experience
