Job Summary:
Hoban Recruitment is seeking experienced Operational Policy and Support Policy Officers to join a Federal Government Agency in their National Delivery team.
The successful candidates will provide policy support to operational areas and regulatory functions through various means, including implementing improvements to Commission regulatory functions, developing policy and operational documents, and preparing guidance material on policy and procedural changes.
They will also research and draft briefing documents about policy issues and provide policy advice on relevant legislation, standards, and industry information.
In addition, the officers will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, build positive working relationships, and respond to enquiries in a timely manner. They will also mentor staff and share information for knowledge transfer and a common understanding of Commission legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing improvements to Commission regulatory functions, particularly in quality assessment, compliance, and enforcement.
* Developing policy and operational documents for consideration by team members.
* Preparing guidance material on policy and procedural changes.
* Researching and drafting briefing documents about policy issues.
* Providing policy advice on relevant legislation, standards, and industry information.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, building positive working relationships, and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
* Mentoring staff and sharing information for knowledge transfer and a common understanding of Commission legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and organisational goals.
