Senior Community Development Manager
We are seeking a Senior Community Development Manager to lead our team in the East Kimberley region.
About the Role

As a Senior Community Development Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a culturally diverse team delivering high-quality, person-centred support under the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) program.
In this important role, you'll influence employment outcomes, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to regional workforce development. Your leadership will help individuals gain sustainable employment, enhance their quality of life, and build stronger, more resilient communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Motivate: Supervise, mentor, and develop a culturally inclusive team, driving quality case management.
* Strategic Planning: Contribute to and implement regional workforce development strategies and labour market planning.
* Service Delivery: Manage caseloads, oversee daily operations, and ensure service standards align with Job Pathways' values and quality management systems.
* Community Engagement: Build strong partnerships with local employers, Indigenous organisations, councils, and community groups.
* Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate client records, ensure compliance with program guidelines, and meet performance benchmarks.
* Cultural Responsiveness: Promote culturally safe practices in service delivery and staff development.
Requirements
* Mandatory Experience:
o Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally in employment services, community services, or human services.
o Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
o Proven capacity to lead performance, resolve challenges, and deliver results.
o Understanding of the social, cultural, and economic factors influencing Indigenous and remote communities.
o Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
o Experience managing service delivery in a dynamic, community-based environment.
* Preferred Qualifications:
o Tertiary qualifications in Leadership & Management, Human Services, Employment Services, or related fields.
