Are you an experienced Company Secretary seeking an AMAZING contract opportunity?
We're partnering with a leading South Australian organisation seeking an exceptional individual to lead the Company Secretariat team in providing advice and support to the Board of Directors and Executive in fulfilling their fiduciary duties as they oversee the performance objectives of the organisation in the delivery of key government initiatives.
This unique opportunity requires a strategic leader with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to develop and lead the company secretary functions, oversee governance, budget and vendor management while driving continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities Include
o Responsible for developing and delivering a corporate-led suite of company secretary documentation, resources and tools that supports the business, as well managing all Board Governance requirements.
o Coordinate, prepare for and attend all Board and subcommittee meetings
o Manage the budget for the Company Secretariat function
o Manage procurement/contract arrangements to deliver the best value and participate in tender activities
o Determine the most suitable initiatives, tools and KPIs that will enhance the measurement and continuous improvement of Company Secretariat and Corporate Legal across the organisation
o Demonstrate strong leadership to ensure SA Water attracts, retains and develops a highly skilled and engaged legal and compliance team in order to strengthen SA Water’s reputation as an employer of choice.
You Will Possess
o Proven experience in a similar role supporting a Board of Directors and Senior Executive
o Superior communication and writing skills, experience in preparing high level documentation, board papers, minutes and executive reports
o Experience with Diligent software in managing secretariat demands would be highly desirable
o Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure, meeting rapidly changing priorities under limited direction
o Experience in leading, managing and motivating teams
