Job Description
Caseworkers play a vital role in reducing re-offending among young offenders. In this role, you will work effectively within a statutory environment to manage the dual roles of monitoring compliance and intervening to address issues that place young offenders at risk of re-offending.
The key responsibilities include:
* Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for victims, young offenders, their families, and the community.
* Preparing and presenting verbal and written reports to the relevant authorities on behalf of the Chief Executive.
* Conducting pre and post-court interviews, preparing quality reports, affidavits, and other relevant documentation to support best-practice outcomes for young people in the justice system.
