Actuarial Professional - Portfolio Growth and Strategy
We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to directly influence business outcomes, drive meaningful change, and contribute to the success of our growing portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial work experience, with a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in the insurance industry. They will also possess Fellow or Associate status of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent, as well as strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality portfolio analysis to SME management teams, Actuarial executives, and their key customers in Australia and New Zealand businesses. They will also collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement strategies that directly contribute to portfolio growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing technical pricing solutions, including cost models, conversion and renewal models, and model monitoring infrastructure.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine processes, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement in a data-driven, digital environment.
* Presenting technical results to a wide range of internal stakeholders, including senior management and front-line business.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to lead technical pricing solutions development, utilizing Radar for scenario testing, impact analysis, and updating rates. They will also assist Senior Actuaries in producing the Annual Business Plan.
