This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of Signature Care into the future during a period of significant change in the aged care sector.
We are looking for an experienced Gardener/Handy Person to maintain our beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding our beautiful residence. The hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 08:00 am - 16:00pm
To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience with gardening and light landscaping.
- Experience and competency with all relevant gardening tools and machinery
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues
- Previous experience working autonomously with limited direction
- Be passionate about plants
- Have an eye for detail
- Handy man skills would be very desirable
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Drivers licence an advantage.
The successful applicant will also need to provide:
- A current police check (within 12 months of the commencement date and it must be Aged Care/Vulnerable people specific)
- Have Australian Work Rights
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
