The Marketing and Communications Office is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to promoting Murdoch University. Through strategic marketing and communications, we enhance the university's reputation, drive growth, and lead employee communications.
The role of Marketing and Communications Specialist supports the university's acquisition marketing efforts by creating targeted content and strategic communications that elevate the profile within the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for the Engineering and Energy, and Information Technology Schools.
Key responsibilities include:
* Content Creation: Develop compelling narratives highlighting academic achievements, research outcomes, teaching innovations, and student experiences to engage diverse audiences.
* Reputation Building: Develop and execute communication strategies to strengthen the college and schools' reputations, showcasing unique strengths and achievements.
* Social Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage targeted social media campaigns on behalf of the schools to engage current staff and students, attract prospective students, and promote key events or initiatives.
* Marketing Materials Development: Create marketing content and materials tailored to prospective student and stakeholder needs.
