The Role: We are seeking a Store Manager to join our Merrell Essendon DFO store.
In this role, you will lead, inspire, and coach a passionate sales team, including support from your Assistant Store Manager.
You will work collaboratively with your Area Manager to drive sales in a dynamic, high-turnover environment.
Responsibilities: Ensure the efficient operation of the store to meet sales targets, KPIs, store presentation standards, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage management.
Motivate your team to achieve KPIs and added value targets across the store.
Monitor store sales closely to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, recognizing outstanding results and addressing areas for improvement.
Manage wage costs effectively, adhering to weekly wage targets and rostering standards.
Coach and mentor team members to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and maintain safe working conditions.

Candidate Requirements: At least 1 year of retail store management experience in a fast-paced environment.
A motivated, proactive attitude with a strong drive to succeed.
Passion for leading and inspiring teams.
Strategic thinking skills with a proven track record of driving sales and achieving KPIs.
Operational expertise in stock control and visual merchandising.
Experience in roster management and wage control.
