We are looking for individuals with a passion for tax and applying it in a fast-paced, commercial setting to join our market‐leading international tax and transactions practice.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on domestic and international tax matters associated with all aspects of the M&A life cycle, including due diligence, structuring and other advisory engagements.
* Preparing tax opinions and reports on a variety of domestic and international tax matters, including supply chains, fund structures, capital structures, and global reorganisations.
* Project managing both clients and internal teams to ensure a multidisciplinary project is delivered seamlessly across specialties and geographies.
* Building and maintaining client relationships by understanding and anticipating their needs and providing exceptional client service.
* Providing support and guidance to junior team members, while staying up to date with tax law changes and industry trends.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* At least 2 years' experience in Australian tax consulting in a tax consulting, corporate or legal tax environment. Prior income tax compliance experience is a plus.
* Strong tax research skills.
* Ability to adapt and adopt technology solutions, including AI.
* Ability to succinctly and clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients in writing and verbally.
* Experience working in a team environment.
Preferred Additional Skills
* Inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, and/or tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post‐acquisition planning experience.
* Experience managing budgets, projects and people.
* Ability to develop relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service.
