The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead day-to-day maintenance operations across the El Questro estate for the March 2026 season.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a small team of maintenance personnel, coordinate daily tasks, respond to reactive issues, and ensure preventative maintenance is completed to standard across accommodation, staff facilities, plant and infrastructure.
This is a hands-on leadership role that balances people leadership with practical maintenance work in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the maintenance team across ELQ sites
* Allocate and prioritise daily maintenance tasks
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and contractors
* Support asset care, reporting and job tracking systems
* Assist with onboarding and training of maintenance staff
About You
* Proven experience in a maintenance, facilities or trade-based role
* Previous experience leading or supervising a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Comfortable working in remote and physically demanding environments
* Trade qualification or broad maintenance skill set highly regarded
* Strong safety awareness and communication skills
