Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented exciting openings for Full-Time Night Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Thomastown, VIC primary production facility. Due to demand, the business is adding to their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.
* $50.32ph base rate + 30% loading
* Nights: 9pm start, 8-hour days, 5 days per week, M-F
* Some weekend work required and overtime available
The Role
Supporting the Engineering and Production teams, you will;
* Provide technical plant equipment and system support during breakdowns, shutdowns and all preventative maintenance activities
* Ensure maintenance & repairs are carried out to meet OEM standards and specifications
* Work towards set production rates for equipment performance
You, your Skills, Experience and Qualifications

* Full Electrician's trade license
* 1+ years in an automated FMCG production environment
* Sound mechanical maintenance aptitude
* Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
* Strong organization skills and be happy working on your own as well as part of a team
* Motivation for fault finding/diagnosis on systems and equipment
* Team player, willing to slightly adjust shift times to cover teammates
* Basic PLC troubleshooting, VSD and motor control
* Equipment: Conveyors, high-speed packaging sensors, food processing machines, etc
