Accounts Administration Officer

Your new company

is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support our finance and administrative functions. This dynamic role offers exposure across payroll, accounting, HR, and general business operations.

Your new role

* Manage and support full-cycle payroll processing.
* Assist with compliance reporting including BAS
* Provide support for HR-related tasks and documentation.
* Perform daily bank reconciliations and process incoming payments (EFTPOS, credit card, etc.).
* Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure adherence to trade credit terms.
* Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
* Contribute to product costing through data analysis to support pricing and profitability decisions.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.
* Review and process credit applications and maintain debtor/creditor records.
* Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
* Reconcile supplier statements monthly.

What you'll need to succeed

As well as experience related to the above, you will have a proven track record in the following:

* Exceptional attention to detail - accuracy is key across financial and administrative tasks.
* Strong organisational skills - ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Adaptability - able to pivot between tasks and respond to changing priorities.
* Customer-focused - committed to delivering a positive experience for clients and colleagues.
