Job Description
The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in leading a team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences that celebrate Australian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
* Pioneer guest satisfaction at CC's Bar and Grill through innovative culinary experiences.
* Develop new menu items and enhance existing ones to elevate our offerings.
* Provide hands-on leadership during all service periods and shifts.
* Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Service leadership team.
* Ensure rigorous training programs align with high standards.
* Foster seamless communication and coordination with all hotel departments.
* Oversee workplace health and safety procedures.
* Contribute to seasonal menu creation, promotional offerings, and event packages.
* Partner with the Executive Chef to manage inventory and supplies.
* Support efficient procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of culinary delights.
* Champion the hotel's food safety program to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
About You
* Minimum Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery.
* Proven leader driving kitchen teams to produce award-winning cuisine.
* Experience in controlling food and labor costs.
* Well-developed communication and time management skills.
