Job Description
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant to join the business services team. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of SME clients while working closely with managers and partners across a range of tax and advisory matters.
Key Responsibilities Include
Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industriesPreparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and individualsHandling BAS, GST and other compliance obligationsProviding tax and business advisory support to clientsActing as the main point of contact for client queriesAssisting with mentoring and reviewing work of junior accountants
Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
4+ years’ experience within Australian public practice accountingStrong experience in business services and tax complianceCA or CPA qualified (or near completion)Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationshipsExperience managing your own client portfolio or stepping into that level
