HARBAR is a vibrant 70-seater Indian restaurant and cocktail bar in Redfern, known for bold flavours, creative cocktails, and warm hospitality. We are seeking an experienced and confident Front of House Supervisor to lead service, support the team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
About the Role
As Front of House Supervisor, you will work closely with the management team to oversee daily service operations, ensure high service standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead front-of-house staff during service
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across restaurant and bar
* Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest feedback professionally
* Train, motivate, and support FOH team members
* Oversee reservations, seating plans, and table turnover
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene
* Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams
* Assist with staff rostering and shift management
* Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and venue policies
* Support bar operations, including cocktails and beverage service
About You
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a Supervisor or Senior FOH role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability
* Confident with bar service and cocktails (preferred)
* Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services
* Passion for hospitality and teamwork
* Strong attention to detail
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements
* Valid RSA (NSW) – essential
* Full working rights in Australia
* Experience with POS systems (training provided if required)

Pay: $50,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
