About The Role
Start your journey with the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa as an all-rounder Chef de Partie to help our passionate kitchen team across our different kitchens – Main, Banquets, Production and Misono Kitchens – to create mouth‑watering food for our guests.
Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will form a key part of a team responsible for providing high‑quality products to our luxury guests.
We are recruiting an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our rapid‑paced, energetic kitchen operation.
We are looking for a team player who seeks to develop further in their career and build with the team and the business.
Critical Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers
Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served
Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared
Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items
Prepare special meals or substitute items
Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks
