We're looking for experienced and motivated car buyers who know how to combine valuation expertise, customer empathy, and commercial acumen to close quality deals every day.
The Role & What You'll Do
As a Private Buyer at Cars24, you'll be responsible for engaging directly with car owners to purchase vehicles for our national inventory. You'll combine your deep product knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer service excellence to deliver a premium, transparent buying experience.
Your key responsibilities:
* Source and acquire vehicles directly from private sellers, ensuring a steady and high-quality pipeline of inventory.
* Conduct detailed inspections and valuations to ensure accurate offers and maintain acquisition standards.
* Negotiate confidently with private sellers to secure vehicles at the right price while ensuring a great customer experience.
* Collaborate closely with our sourcing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle movement and handovers.
* Monitor local market trends and pricing data to identify sourcing opportunities and maintain competitive acquisition pricing.
* Build lasting relationships with customers, turning one-time sellers into repeat brand advocates.
* Maintain accurate digital records for all purchases and ensure compliance with Cars24 processes and standards.
