This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a mechanical workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking scheduled maintenance and repairs of fire appliances and ancillary equipment. They will also collaborate with a multi-skilled trades team to contribute to projects across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake scheduled maintenance and repairs of fire appliances and ancillary equipment.
* Collaborate with a multi-skilled trades team to contribute to projects across the organisation.
* Carry out emergency field service repairs on the fireground to support operational Firefighter crews when required.
* Maintain high Occupational Health and Safety standards in the workshop and on site.
Requirements:
* Current Victorian HR Driver's Licence (compulsory).
* Minimum of 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
