Team Lead Role
This is a critical leadership position in our organization. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality care to our residents.
You will support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care to the residents across the home while ensuring that individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide social and emotional support to all residents to ensure holistic and person-centered care.
* Support the coordination of care needs of residents across the home, including medication management, nutrition and hydration, and pressure care management.
* Lead/supervise care on the shift within your designated wing or area.
* Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and organizational policies and procedures for delegation and supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication).
* High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
* An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
* Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and learn new skills as required.
* Current National police check.
* Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
