The Opportunities
Senior Landscape Architect
As a Senior Landscape Architect, you'll play a key leadership role within the studio, leading projects from concept through to delivery and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading medium to large-scale projects across all phases
* Delivering high-quality design, documentation and coordination outcomes
* Managing project budgets, timelines, fees and consultants
* Representing Orterra in client meetings and presentations
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
* Contributing to business development and proposals
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and BCA requirements
You'll bring:
* A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture
* ALA Registration (mandatory)
* Proven experience delivering projects independently
* Strong technical capability (AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop)
* Excellent client communication and problem-solving skills
* A collaborative, accountable and values-aligned approach
Landscape Architect
As a Landscape Architect, you'll be supported to build strong foundations while working across a diverse range of projects and learning from experienced practitioners.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting design development, documentation and project coordination
* Assisting with presentations, reports and graphic deliverables
* Contributing to research, workshops and drawing (hand and digital)
* Participating in site visits and project meetings
* Collaborating with clients, consultants and suppliers
* Supporting marketing and administrative tasks when required
You'll bring:
* An Honours or Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture
* A solid technical foundation and strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn
