Job Overview
This is a key leadership role that oversees the efficient management of departmental assets.
The job holder will lead a team responsible for providing strategic asset management services to support the achievement of departmental objectives.
* Develop and implement asset management strategies in line with departmental policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment with departmental plans and objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with departmental goals and objectives.
2. Provide expert advice on asset management best practices and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
3. Manage risks associated with asset maintenance and disposal, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
4. Oversee the Asset Management Accountability Framework attestation process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
5. Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders, including the Executive Director, Procurement and Property Services.
Requirements
* High-level experience in developing and leading major policy initiatives in areas of asset maintenance and management.
* Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia Act and relevant Australian Standards regarding asset maintenance and management.
* Subject matter expert in the area of asset maintenance, management, and facilities management.
* A relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, asset management, facilities, service delivery, or contract management).
