The Position
An opportunity is available for a VR General Practitioner to join a well-established, coastal mixed billing clinic offering strong patient demand and excellent support. The role is open to full-time or part-time GPs, with flexibility around start date and working hours.
The Clinic
This modern, fully accredited medical centre has been serving the community for over 20 years. The clinic is supported by experienced nursing staff, pathology on-site, and allied health services including physiotherapy and dietetics. GPs are well-supported by an efficient administrative team and enjoy access to Best Practice software.
The Location
Located in a vibrant coastal suburb of the Illawarra region, the clinic is just over an hour south of Sydney and close to beautiful beaches, shopping centres, and schools. It's an ideal lifestyle destination with a relaxed atmosphere and easy access to city amenities.
Essential Criteria
* Vocational Registration (FRACGP or equivalent)
* AHPRA Specialist Registration
* Unrestricted Medicare provider number preferred
The Package
* 75% of billings or $175 / hr guarantee for 3 months – whichever is greater
* Sign-on incentives may be available
* Mixed billing : $85 consult fee for private patients (item 23), $65 for concession Bulk billing for eligible patients (e.g. pensioners, children, Indigenous)
* Based on an average of 6 patients per hour (4 bulk billed, 2 privately billed), estimated daily gross billings exceed $1,400 for a 7-hour day
* Flexible hours and part-time options available
* Full nursing and admin support, allied health on site
