The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Financial Controller
to lead the financial performance at our client's manufacturing business in the Western Suburbs. This role partners closely with the business to deliver accurate reporting, strong inventory control, and meaningful financial insights.
* Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with AASB standards and obligations to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
* Manage end-to-end finance operations, including general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, and cash flow
* Lead cost accounting processes including standard costing, COGS analysis, inventory valuation, and variance reporting
* Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned to production and operational targets
* Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 and relevant regulatory requirements
* Provide commercial insights to support pricing, capital investment, supply chain, and operational performance
* Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while improving systems, processes, and ERP efficiency
The Person
We are seeking an individual who is able to hit the ground running in a high-volume Manufacturing environment. CA/CPA qualified, you must be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen while operating in a hands-on leadership role. As a demonstrated leader, you will lead a technical high-volume accounting team. As a strong analytical thinker, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the technical ability to advance with the business.
