The Opportunity:
We're seeking a General Manager to lead operations and growth. You'll run the day-to-day business, elevate our management cadence, enable business unit leads to meet targeted revenue and strengthen our market positioning.
The role operates primarily within Defence and national security environments, while supporting disciplined growth into adjacent and new markets.
What you'll do:
* Lead the senior management team and operational rhythm aligned to Board-approved strategy and annual plans.
* Translate Board-approved strategy into integrated business and operating plans for execution.
* Embed governance, risk, quality and compliance across Elysium EPL.
* Enable and mentor leaders to deliver revenue, capability, and performance outcomes.
* Support growth initiatives, network development, and client engagement within Defence, Defence industry, and adjacent markets.
* Report to the Board on operational, financial and strategic performance.
What you'll bring:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in senior management roles.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen.
* Demonstrated leadership experience in Defence, national security, or similarly regulated environments.
* Experience enabling growth across diversified services or products, including exposure to adjacent or emerging markets.
* Proven ability to operate credibly with government, Defence, and industry stakeholders.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV2 security clearance.
* High emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and cultural alignment.
* Post-graduate business qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
* Completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course (desirable).
