Speech Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Broome. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to children, adults, and older people with communication, language, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for communication, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive-communication disorders
* Deliver culturally safe, person-centred care in clinic- and community-based settings
* Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning, clinical education, and service improvement
* Conduct mealtime assessment, planning, and risk management
* Maintain accurate documentation, communication, and organisational records
Qualifications and Skills
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* Certification as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) through Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to obtain it prior to commencement
* Experience in assessment and management of communication, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive-communication disorders
* Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development, reflective practice, and quality improvement
