**About the company**
Verve Partners have partnered with a leading Australian company specialising in storage solutions for liquids in the chemical, and water industries.
Their products are built to the highest Australian standards, taking into account the various requirements for their national client base.
**Your new role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee the manufacturing and production processes. As an experienced Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production targets are met and that products meet the highest quality standards.
You will also oversee the manufacturing of component parts, manage stock levels, and work closely with international suppliers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing key customers and sales for key accounts.
**Key tasks and responsibilities**:
- Set weekly production targets and priorities and develop and monitor production schedules to ensure all customer delivery targets are met.
- Plan and participate in production meetings as required, overseeing the manufacturing and production processes, and ensuring tanks are built to an agreed quality standard.
- Manage the in-house manufacturing of component parts, monitor stock levels, and ensure sufficient materials are always available, as well as managing international suppliers.
- Ensure manufacturing follows Licensors and AS9001 requirements, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures, including company safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Identify production related issues through analysis of production data, then identify potential process improvements, and monitor and report on key KPI's.
- Create monthly reports for senior management and provide technical information and guidance to customers and installers as required.
- Contribute to new product design as required, manage the drawing approval process, liaise with customers/installers on delivery requirements, and book and coordinate outgoing product deliveries.

- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Manufacturing or a Heavy Industry.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with staff at various levels to achieve best results and outcomes for the business.
- Advanced knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management principles
