Location: Morwell, Latrobe City

Band 6 Salary: $94,412.76 - $102,394.76 plus 11.5 % super

Department: Organisational Performance, Information & Technology

About The Role

As Team Leader IT Customer Solutions you will lead a team of IT professionals to deliver a high-quality IT support service to Latrobe City Council councillors, staff and Latrobe City community members

You'll oversee a varied portfolio including the provision of first line support and issue resolution, the provision of IT equipment and maintenance and helping to deliver new IT services and solutions.

You'll work across a number of sites within the Latrobe City, providing challenge and variety in your work, as well as building your skill set.

You'll work directly with a small team of like-minded IT professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of customer service. And you won't have to do it alone. Supported by your supervisor and fellow team-mates, your input will be recognised and truly valued.

About you:

You'll need the following:
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or significant proven experience relevant to managing and delivering IT Support Services to a large organisation.
* Significant experience in managing an IT service desk environment and team.
* ITIL Certification or proven experience working with and implementing IT Service Management concepts and disciplines.
* Extensive understanding and solid experience in leading an IT support team that provisions, supports, and maintains end-user devices and software services.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team, providing mentoring, coaching and facilitating professional development.
* Proven skills and experience in the delivery of a quality, customer-oriented IT support and service function for a large organisation.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships in an intricate operating environment while dealing with competing priorities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills that adapt to the audience as well as demonstrated ability to solve technical problems in a complex, dynamic environment.
