**Your role**: - Co-teach with classroom teachers to support and model curriculum adjustments and modifications promoting inclusive education. Work collaboratively with stakeholders and advocate for the needs of students as part of the Inclusion team. Assess and identify the needs of students with disabilities and/or learning needs and provide reasonable adjustments to address their identified needs
- Monitor and review the impact of the adjustments provided. Develop, produce and manage student plans and associated resources. Collect data and make observations in regards to students appointed to you
- Liaise with Advisory Visiting Teachers, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech Language therapists-complete referrals and implement programs. Contribute to excursion and camp preparation - additional support personnel, risk assessments. Attend Year level meetings, planning meetings and participation in moderation. Create ICP's and attend reviews and initial submission of ICP
Finally, as an Inclusion teacher you will work with the Head of Inclusive Practices (HOIP) and Inclusion team to ensure the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) process is adhered to with fidelity. You will be supported and will be rewarded for the positive difference that you will make each day.
