The Position
As the Senior Advisor Strategic Communications, you will lead a strategic approach to internal communications designed to keep employees informed, engaged and aligned with organisational goals. This role will work closely with the business stakeholders to create, conceptualise, initiate, implement, promote and evaluate strategic communication programs and campaigns. The Senior Advisor Strategic Communications will plan, develop and oversee content and messaging, managing the flow of information from the executive level through to employees and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a strategic internal communication plan that supports the achievement of the company’s goals and values.
• Planning, executing and managing internal campaigns that promote the overall internal communications strategy, monitoring effectiveness and adjusting as needed.
• Plan and create engaging content for various channels, such as intranet, newsletters and emails, ensuring consistent messaging for the target audiences.
• Develop and execute initiatives that boost employee engagement and foster a sense of community within the CEA (i.e. Days of Significance and Sticky Bun events)
• Supervise the delivery of the team’s document services capacity to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness of the service
• Support the Manger Strategic Communications in the redevelopment of the CEA’s intranet page
• Manage the development and uptake of CEA’s written and visual style manual
• Manage the redevelopment and maintenance of CEA’s website
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues at all levels, suppliers, government agencies
• Work with key stakeholders to craft messaging that effectively communicates company initiatives, updates or projects milestones
• Curate written and visual content for communications collateral on CEA’s channels, including the website, intranet, videos, articles, project memos and blogs
• Support the Manager Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Manager with media events and other duties as required
• Create opportunities for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members to actively participate in corporate messaging

Our Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful communications campaigns
• Creative thinking with a strategic mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and develop relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills, including editing, proof reading and graphic design
• Ability to tell a story and translate ideas into effective campaigns
• Proficiency in using digital technology to support content creation and campaign delivery
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or similar is highly desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role is required
• Ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines in a fast paced environment
