Here's what you'll need
Jacobs is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer Secondary Design to join our dynamic team, based in Adelaide, to represent Jacobs across Transmission and Distribution projects locally and throughout Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity for continuous professional development and engagement with our Global Community of Practice along with a compelling remuneration and benefits package.
Key areas of focus
* Deliver Substation Secondary Design across distribution and transmission systems designs (22kV to 500kV).
* Adhere to Jacobs Q&A procedures and technical bulletins.
* Support and manage engineering projects within defined packages, ensuring effective delivery
* Collaborate with other disciplines (civil, structural, secondary, primary)
* Contribute to proposal preparation, including scope development and pricing
* Engage with regional customers, providing technical support and business development.
What We're Looking For
* Proven ability to act as a trusted adviser for clients.
* Prior High Voltage Secondary Substation (primary/secondary) hands on design technical skills and project delivery experience.
* Capability to manage and provide technical direction to design teams including Global Delivery Centres.
* Experience in managing design projects in compliance with quality systems.
