Please note that this position is also advertised as a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Integration Hub (526442L1d), with only one position to be filled based on merit. This position is eligible for a Multi-Disciplinary Allowance.


The Team:

Peacock Centre, opened in 2023, focuses on providing warm, welcoming, and trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing mental health relapse or distress. The Integration Hub collaborates closely with peer-led services at Peacock Centre, including the Safe Haven and the Recovery College, as well as the acute treatment unit of Peacock House and other service providers in southern Tasmania.


The Role:

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services aligned with Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policies, legal requirements, and professional competencies, the Allied Health Professional – Integration Hub will:

* Oversee the daily operations of the service, focusing on optimizing outcomes for attendees, their families, carers, and friends.
* Provide effective supervision and support to Peer Workers within the Integration Hub.
* Lead, direct, and manage change to support service development and ensure compliance with the Operational Service Model.


You will need to:

* Contribute actively to the culture, leadership, and daily management of the Integration Hub to ensure individuals can access necessary services to address immediate concerns and promote ongoing independence, recovery, and overall health.
* Support and educate Peer Workers regularly, including providing debriefing opportunities.
* Support consumers and their families/friends as leaders in their own care.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting 27th January 2026. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant. The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for twelve months from the date of publication.


Salary:

$123,717 to $134,336 per annum, plus a 12% superannuation contribution. Salary packaging options are available, including benefits up to $9,010 for living expenses and $2,650 for meal entertainment annually.


Allowances and benefits:

* Access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
* Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas applicants and $10,000 for interstate applicants.
