Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our team on a 6‐month fixed‐term contract, playing a pivotal role in keeping product flowing across selected business units.
In this hands‐on role, you'll run MRP, manage purchasing and stock transfers, and proactively resolve supply, inventory and master data issues to protect service levels and availability. You'll be the go‐to SME for SAP and GAINS supply/inventory queries, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Ops, Warehouse and Demand Planning to troubleshoot and unblock issues quickly. Just as importantly, you'll help lift team capability by supporting training and coaching of new and existing team members, driving practical improvements to day‐to‐day planning execution.
Qualifications
* 4+ years in Supply Planning and/or Data Analytics (MedTech/FMCG ideal)
* 2+ years ERP experience (SAP preferred) plus strong systems capability
* Confidence running MRP, interpreting action messages and driving outcomes
* Strong stakeholder skills to influence across Sales/Marketing/Finance/Ops
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving (inventory, master data, supply issues)
* Ability to work at pace, prioritise, and deliver results in a fixed‐term role
Responsibilities
* Acting as SME for SAP & GAINS supply/inventory issues and troubleshooting
* Running MRP and converting requirements into POs, STOs and actions
* Managing backorders, supplier follow‐up, and updating delivery dates in ERP
* Investigating and resolving inventory, receiving and master data issues
* Supporting freight and returns processes to optimise cost and ensure credits
* Building strong supplier and internal relationships; training/coaching team members
