**Now a bit about the role**:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager and is a part of the Asset Management team you'll require your high focus to assist in managing the service delivery of site maintenance and management.
Your ability to work well both within a team in combination with experience in working independently (with some flexibility with working hours) will support your high commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all RSL workplaces.
As the Facilities and Asset Officer you will be required to engage with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure appropriate performance outcomes and compliance with relevant legislation RSL Queensland site & building environments.
**What your working week will involve**:
- Assisting with the maintenance of all RSL assets, in particular addressing daily work requests and tasks as assigned
- Identifying and action preventative maintenance tasks
- Directly contribute to the provision of a safe and healthy environment for all RSL clients, staff and visitors
- Assisting with the management of site/building access and security
- Coordinating site inductions and supervision of external contractors
- Assisting with "move, add, change" requests as required.
- Assisting with the maintenance of high quality amenities at all RSL Queensland sites
- Maintaining records and service schedules
- Assisting with the management of RSL Queensland fleet vehicles, including vehicle bookings, issuance, servicing and logistics when required
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- At least three years practical experience working within Asset Management, Facilities Management or property maintenance related roles
- Trade qualifications desirable but not essential
- An understanding of building compliance, essential services, BCA, WH&S and building fire safety requirements is preferred
- Prior training/qualifications in WH&S desirable
- A high level of energy and proactivity with strong organisation and time management skills desirable
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills, ability to interact well with diverse personalities and contractors
- A good work ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Experience with the use of Microsoft Dynamics an advantage Current driver's license
